Marvel On Disney+: 10 Biggest Reveals From Super Bowl Spot
1. Time Variance Authority
The teaser ends with our first look at Loki and, honestly, by far the biggest reveal. The God of Mischief's hands are bound, he's in a prison jumpsuit, and vows to "burn this place to the ground" before flashing one of his trademark grins. So, where is the villainous version of Loki who escaped during the events of Avengers: Endgame?
"TVA" is emblazoned on his jumpsuit and that stands for Time Variance Authority. They're responsible for monitoring the Multiverse and can even get rid of certain timelines if they're deemed too dangerous to exist. They also take action to prevent other beings from altering the past or future, something it's been confirmed Loki will be doing here as he travels through time in an apparent bid to avoid his death happening at Thanos' hands.
That's landed the villain in their custody but something tells us he won't be there for long. It's no great surprise that the TVA wants to get rid of a version of Loki who was never redeemed as he toys with time and it's now starting to make sense why the show landed one of Rick and Morty's writers given that show's frequent use of time-travel!
