Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2: 32 Easter Eggs You Probably Missed

18. The Corridor Echo

When that corridor scene from the first season caught so much attention, it was inevitable that the second season would seek to go one better with more hyper-stylised violence. It didn't disappoint, with several stand out sequences in confined spaces. Obviously, the most tonally similar (and the one that is clearly the one-upped version of last year's sequence) was the excellent elongated staircase fight. It was thrilling, it was brilliant and it was brutal, but it wasn't alone. Better - and arguably a closer parallel with Daredevil's exceptional fight in the corridor - comes with Punisher's incredible, breathless take-down of several of his fellow inmates. In stark contrast to Daredevil's non-lethal approach, Castle's bloody swath cut through the prisoners is as brutal and jarring as it is entertaining, and the scenes are excellent, intriguing siblings. It's not shot the same, but the two are definitely dark reflections.
