2. The Rise Of Punisher

Obviously the entire season was littered with references to Punisher's iconic skull logo, thanks to the increasing importance of his tell-tale skull x-ray. From there on it became a case of wondering whether the show was genuinely going to have Castle adopt his comics costume fully, and thankfully we weren't disappointed. When the moment comes at the end of the finale and he stands on the rooftop with his logo emblazoned across his chest, it was pretty much the biggest fan-baiting moment in the entire season. That same scene sees Elektra wearing a very close version of her iconic red costume from the comics as well.
