Marvel's Daredevil Season 3: 10 Early Predictions For Season 4

1. A Pre-Infinity War Story

Daredevil Episode 13
Netflix

Although the latest season of Daredevil released several months after Infinity War, it's pretty obvious that it takes place before that film. Head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb confirmed as much in an interview with CNET last week, but - sooner or later - the MCU Netflix shows will have to address Thanos' snap. It's just that, when it comes to Netflix, it makes little to no sense for them to do so.

By the time Daredevil Season 4 inevitably comes around, the effects of Thanos' conquest will pretty much be irrelevant. The soonest possible window for release would be late 2019/early 2020, at which point Avengers 4 will have come around, and things will (presumably) revert back to normal.

It's certainly not out of the realms of possibility that the MCU Netflix shows will address the franchise's most devastating development, but getting halfway through Season 4, only for one of the series' leads to turn to dust, would feel particularly obtuse. They're all part of the same universe of course, and we can only hope that the links between the TV shows and films will be strengthened soon, but inserting Thanos into the equation just isn't the way to do it.
