Marvel's Daredevil Season 3: 9 Villains That Should Appear
2. Bullseye
Perhaps the most famous of Daredevil's adversaries, fans have been begging for Bullseye since the announcement of Netflix's Marvel partnership in 2012, and it's easy to see why.
Initially something of a gag character in Frank Miller's original Daredevil run, Bullseye underwent a dramatic shift in character when he murdered Elektra - a process that transformed the assassin into a truly sadistic, worthwhile adversary for Matt Murdock. He's certainly the most prolific Daredevil villain, having featured in the 2003 Mark Steven Johnson film played by Colin Farrell, so it makes sense for him to get a nod sooner, rather than later.
There are so many ways for the Kingpin to take down Matt Murdock. and one such method would, surely, involve a more direct approach. Fisk might be able to match Murdock physically, but he's nowhere near as resourceful as a fully fledged assassin. Introducing Bullseye as a more direct challenge to Daredevil would, then, add another element to the show, and provide the audience with a fan favourite character to boot.
Granted, it's probable that the showrunners are looking to introduce Bullseye at a later date, but bringing in Fisk's many, many assassins would well and truly raise the stakes for season 3. Especially if they bring in a certain pyrokinetic...
