11. Mitchell Ellison
Mitchell Ellison is the steadfast editor at the New York Bulletin - J. Jonah Jameson's more even-tempered, approachable cousin, if you will. Much like Tower, he often acts as an obstacle to our heroes, particularly Karen, as they try to get to the bottom of the truth. Actor Geoffrey Cantor always makes clear the moral centre of the man, though, so he never feels like a nuisance to have around.
Season 3 portrays Ellison at his most human, as we see him at home with his wife and attempting to set Karen up on a date.
It's tough to watch him shun Karen later on when he discovers she's withholding the identity of Daredevil, but seeing what he's been through and his nature as a journalist it's a fair enough reaction. Thankfully, he lived through his attack by Pointdexter when it looked like the show was setting him up for a martyr's death.
