9. Father Lantom
As Matt is such a conflicted Catholic, Father Lantom has been an important part of Daredevil as he acts as Murdock's voice of reason and effectively his therapist. In the first two seasons, he was very much a wise, pure soul but what makes his role in season 3 interesting is that we get to see the human, flawed side of Lantom.
It comes out in episode 8 that Lantom has been keeping a huge secret from Matt his entire life - one that may have contributed to his life-long sense of loneliness.
This could turn us against Lantom but Peter McRobbie ensures that the character comes across as repentant and regretful. As such, it still comes as a sad blow when Bullseye murders him in episode 11, in a shock twist on Karen's death in the comics. R.I.P. Father Lantom.
