4. Why Does Joy Change Her Mind?

One of the most confusing moments in the entire show comes right at the end, when Davos and Joy meet up to discuss killing Danny... Wait, killing him?! Wasn't Joy just pleading with her father to spare Danny? What happened after that rooftop showdown?

He offers her "hope of returning to your old life", which presumably was running Rand with Ward, knowing her father was dead and just getting on with being a great corporate figure. Which is exactly what she could be doing right now anyway - it's not like Ward would seriously stop her sharing control of the business?

And then to confuse matters, it turns out Gao is there too, probably working with Davos - you know, the sworn enemy of The Hand, who she is - suggesting this uneasy threesome are going to work together. Talk about twists out of absolutely nowhere.

It's not even like they couldn't have written this a lot better: Gao is an arch manipulator, capable of implanting ideas and poisoning minds, and she could very easily have been used to do just that, but instead she's left sipping her coffee as Davos does the hard work and everything gets horribly confusing.
