Marvel's Iron Fist Season 2: What Does The Ending Really Mean?

6. Bloody Mary Is Coming

Marvel fans have been waiting to see Typhoid Mary in the MCU, and she finally made her first live-action appearance in Iron Fist season 2 of all places. Alice Eve's DID-suffering assassin was pretty far from the comics character but by the end of the season one key part of the supervillain was teased.

Over the season, we learn that a third alter apart from Mary or Walker got herself out of her imprisonment in Sokovia. According to Walker, all she knows is this other persona left "a bloody mess" in her wake. This has to be a nod to Bloody Mary, the worst and most dangerous of Mary's alters in the comics.

Clearly, Mary will be back in a big way in season 3 - and poor Joy is being forced into working for her and helping her discover the truth about her past. There's no way this will end well, with the awakening of Bloody Mary likely spelling trouble for Team Iron Fist.
