Mayans MC: Every Sons Of Anarchy Character Who Has Appeared (So Far)
4. Montez
Like Quinn, Allesandro Montez was one of Bobby's recruits during Sons of Anarchy's sixth season, making the jump from the Reno, Nevada charter to SAMCRO. Although little insight was ever given into his past or his life outside the club, Montez remained a recurring presence right through to the series' end.
He turned up alongside several of the other Sons in Mayan's second season episode "Kukulkan," the previously mentioned episode that had SAMCRO attempting to get the Mayans and Valtos Malditos to work together. Though Montez himself didn't play a huge role in the episode, we did learn two interesting things about the character.
First off, it turned out that he had been promoted to road captain in the years since the original show concluded. Secondly, it turned out that he was good friends with El Palo, president of the Valtos Malditos, which made the season's big cliffhanger - that a Son was killed in the Mayans' bloodbath at the VM party and it was likely Montez - a huge game-changer for the series, setting the stage for a war between the Sons and the Mayans in Season 3.
