MCU: 10 Best Marvel Netflix Moments
1. Daredevil - Kingpin's Ultimate Defeat
Kingpin might just be the most unrelenting villain out there. Ever since Frank Miller's Daredevil Born Again, Wilson Fisk has been depicted as trying to ruin Matt Murdock's life at every turn - a trend that continued in the Netflix adaptation of the Marvel hero.
The third season of the show was actually based on Frank Miller and David Mazzuchelli's Born Again, but it managed to do something that most live action adaptations of comics do not - have a more satisfying resolution.
This was primarily due to the slow build up of Kingpin's control over New York, with Daredevil having previously bested him in the character's first season but then being defeated by the crime boss at almost every turn since. In the end, Murdock still managed to triumph, managing to achieve both the actual victory over the villain, as well as the moral one - by refusing to kill him despite all he has done.
The performances of Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio were perfect throughout the run of the show, but they really excelled here, with Cox in particular bringing so much emotion to the scene.
Plus, it also meant that we got this absolutely beautiful ending:
Daredevil really is the peak of superhero TV, and superhero media in general for that matter.
