MCU: 10 Best Marvel Netflix Moments
6. Jessica Jones - Gregory Salinger Gets Played
The third season of Jessica Jones tried so very hard to recapture the magic of the first season, the new take on Foolkiller in the form of Jeremy Bobb's Gregory Salinger obviously being an attempt to bring back the compelling creepiness of Kilgrave.
And it worked, both as a follow up to Season 2 and as a finale to all of the Netflix Marvel shows.
As with all good villains though, the most satisfying part of Salinger's journey was the part where the hero finally got the upper hand on them.
When Jessica was drugged and tied up by the villain, it seemed as though the last of the Marvel Netflix series may end on a rather dour note, but it instead led to one of the most enjoyable sections in the entire show. Jones played Salinger like a fiddle and in doing so showed that she doesn't need her powers to take down the bad guy, but simply her wit.
Basically, seeing the character whose entire point was that those with powers were cheating being defeated not by the hero using their gifts, and instead by their sheer intelligence, was great to see play out.
