MCU: What The Netflix Shows MUST Do If Resurrected
5. Don't Stretch Them Out To Thirteen Episodes
There were plenty of factors that contributed to Iron Fist season one being not great, and one of these was the fact that its story had to be stretched out to thirteen episodes.
Compare this to the show's second season, which took a step back at ten episodes (and was far superior because of it), and it's clear that allowing these series' to be shorter is a positive.
Eight to ten episode seasons seem to be more and more of the norm for streaming services anyway, so Disney likely wouldn't be opposed to this change. Yet, at the same time, if a season does need to be closer to thirteen episodes to tell the story it's trying to, then Disney should allow the freedom to go longer if necessary.
