MCU: What The Netflix Shows MUST Do If Resurrected
3. Don't Force Further Seasons
The deaths of Tony Stark and the retirement of Steve Rogers seem to be permanent at this point in time, so hopefully that means Marvel know that they shouldn't extend these stories beyond their natural conclusion.
This is primarily the case for Jessica Jones, as the private eye's story reached a satisfying ending that saw her simply continue running Alias Investigations. It may sound like a good basis to give the character another season or two, but Krysten Ritter (who plays Jones in the show) has stated that the character's story "is a really complete, closed chapter".
If the actor feels the story is over, then the story is probably over.
In the event that Ritter would be open to returning, it may be better to feature her as in a supporting capacity in Luke Cage or Avengers in order to build up to the relationship that Jones and Power Man have in the comics, rather than forcing another solo story right away.
