5. Nathan Shoots Himself Live On Television
Any Misfits fan will tell you that Robert Sheehan and his character Nathan was almost single-handedly responsible for much of the show's early success. In fact, most of the show's most memorable moments can be traced back to Nathan, with his razor-sharp sarcastic wit, zinging one liners and occasionally-touched upon heartbreaking backstory. It was his superpower though that really made him stand out from all the other characters - sure, being able to make people want to have sex with you just by being touched by them is cool and all, but how does immortality grab you? Taking advantage of his new-found invincibility, and always the showman, Nathan agrees to blow his brains out with a pistol in episode 6 of the second season, with grotesque, if not satisfying results. "And that, boys and girls, is how you shoot yourself in the head! I wouldn't recommend trying it at home."
