It's been confirmed that Modern Family will come to an end on ABC after its upcoming 11th season. The series, created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan, debuted on the network back in September 2009, and has been a massive success ever since.
The show has won 21 Primetime Emmy Awards (including Outstanding Comedy Series five years in a row), 6 Writers Guild of America Awards, and in 2013 was ranked at 34 on a list of 101 most well-written television series ever made. Michelle Obama has even confessed that Modern Family is her favourite TV show.
