17. Khonshu Stalking Steven
In the beginning, Moon Knight could have been something of the horror genre, based on the nightmare Steven Grant found himself living in. He was waking up feeling like he had been hit by a bus, but that was merely the tip of the iceberg of what was really going on.
When he began taking the body back from Marc at the most inopportune moments, Khonshu found himself having to intervene. He couldn’t have the one he called ‘the idiot’ getting in the way of preventing Harrow from opening Ammit’s tomb.
This was where things got creepy. As the electrics in Steven’s building failed and flickered, he found himself being chased by a huge human/bird skeleton, vanishing and reappearing before towering over him, intimidating him in a way few others could ever manage.
This wasn’t the only time Khonshu chased Steven down a hallway. It happened again in the second episode, and Steven wasn’t the only one left completely creeped out by the God, everyone watching was too.
