Narcos Season 2 Review: 8 Ups & 3 Downs

1. It's A Solid Improvement Over Season 1

And finally, though it might not be as sexy or glossy as what came before, season two is on the whole a solid dramatic improvement, ramping up the tension to terrifically chilling effect as the walls close in on Escobar.

By slowing the pace down and focusing more on character-driven drama alongside all the murder, while not talking down to the viewer as much, season two has learned from some of the first's mistakes even if there are still a few areas where it could've been tightened up a little.

Whether viewers will want to see a third season or not is likely to be divisive, but of course, most will be there to see how it all pans out regardless.
