While Claire Temple won't be appearing, The Punisher will still have a clear and direct link to Daredevil, in the form of Karen Page.

Page and Frank Castle struck up a surprising bond during Daredevil's second season, and the two are going to be brought back together for Castle's solo outing.

Given her new career as a journalist, it'll be interesting to see just how Page fits into Castle's story - it could be that she comes in to help clear his name, or with research, or maybe just because he needs a friend he can trust.

Whatever the reasoning, we can expect to see a lot of her: Deborah Ann Woll is listed as a main character for the series, with Bernthal describing her as his "co-star".
