Another crucial moment within the parade at the end comes as Nadia makes her way through the crowd. As she does so, she passes two people who look very similar: it's her, but wearing the grey overcoat the original Nadia was wearing.

She's able to move past them, which tells us that she has finally been able to let go and move on. However, it also seemingly confirms her own suspicions with regards to the alternate timelines and dimensions, of things playing out at the same time - that it unpacks like a Russian Doll, layered on top of each other.

It's also interesting in leaving little hints for the future though: the idea that those other Nadias might still be out there, somewhere, or that this might still be going on, so that there is a degree of uncertainty in the ending without trading on its satisfaction.
