Netflix's Stranger Things Review: 8 Ups And 3 Downs

Ups...

8. Easily Bingeable

Stranger Things Poster 2

Unlike most Netflix dramas, Stranger Things is only eight episodes long, with most of those instalments being around 45-50 minutes in length.

That makes it a much easier amount to get through than most other series, and the better part is that you're probably going to want to. This is the kind of show that keeps on building momentum and hooking you in - when one episode ends, you're definitely going to want to watch another...and then another.

The pacing feels really suited to Netflix, as unlike with some of the 13-episode seasons there isn't really any noticeable lag in the middle, and the mystery is compelling enough to pick up any slack that might otherwise occur outside of that. It hurdles along from start to finish, and you want to be taken along on that ride.
