The self-professed "top dog" of the loft may be a shadow of his younger self, but he has a huge personality to make up for it, and beneath the preening, posturing and male kimonos is an endearing and endlessly hilarious character, brought to life by comedic actor, Max Greenfield.
Running for seven seasons, New Girl introduced us to a whole host of unforgettable characters, however with his penchant for costumes, cleaning and of course the finer things in life, Schmidt stole all our hearts.
