The major cliffhanger of season 3 - even if it should perhaps have come right at the end, rather than before 10 minutes of freedom lake - was the question of whether or not Alex Vause had been killed. She spent a lot of the season being totally paranoid that Kubra had managed to sneak someone into the prison to get revenge and murder her, and for the most part it appeared that such paranoia was unfounded (and it wasnt just Piper who found it annoying). However, the season finale showed that she was right all along, as one of the new guards who has managed to slip through the system (not hard giving the security checks under MCC are virtually non-existent) turns out to be there to kill her, or at least it seems that way. We dont actually see her murdered, and if you dont see it on TV that often means it didn't happen, so is Alex still going to be around for season 4? And if he didnt kill her, then who is the actual target?
