Parks And Recreation Or The Good Place Quiz: Who Said It - Andy Dwyer Or Jason Mendoza?

Was it the Mouserat front man, or the leader of Jacksonville's 60-person dance crew?

Parks and Recreation and The Good Place are two sitcoms that share a lot of things. They were both broadcast on NBC, were produced by Michael Schur, and were littered with some of the most likeable characters on television. Of course, conceptually, they couldn't be further apart, with one being a mockumentary workplace comedy and the other an exploration of the afterlife. Still, variety is the spice of life.

To return to the subject of likeable characters, both these comedies focussed on generating a solid ensemble of roles filled with all sorts of archetypes. There are smart/dorky characters, uptight attention-seekers, wise mentors and loveable goofballs. Andy Dwyer took up that last type in Parks, and Jason Mendoza took the stand in The Good Place.

These characters were massive balls of fun energy on their respective shows. Their optimism, humour, confidence, and, let's just say, less than stellar common sense turned them into two of the most beloved characters in sitcom history. You could even go so far as to call them a pair of himbos.

So, let's see if you can sort Burt Macklin from Jianyu.
