Parks & Recreation: 10 Great Moments From 100 Great Episodes

1. When Everyone Spontaneously Got Married

This show does weddings right. Scenario: two characters 100% belong together. Solution: Drag it out for several seasons and only resolve it when everyone has become so tired of the storyline that they don't care anymore? Wrong - get them hitched immediately and without warning in a hilarious and adorable turn of events? You bet. Ben & Leslie They got engaged several episodes before, which was great on its own (see #6) but their spontaneous wedding was just too cute. Ron made the rings out of a sconce, Ann made the dress out of Leslie-themed newspaper articles, Tom officiated, and Donna sang. And I cried.
April & Andy This was very close to a will they-won't they relationship for a long time. Andy was still trying to win Ann back, and was completely oblivious to April's affections. It was so great when they finally started dating, but instead of having an extended courtship, they just got married. A truly great decision.
Ron & Diane Honestly, Ron could only ever end up with a woman as bad-ass as Xena the Warrior Princess - literally no other woman will do. I know, Diane isn't actually Xena, but she's pretty bad-ass in her own right. And he built a canoe to propose to her in? Even though he didn't get to use it, I'm sure he whittled that box for the engagement ring, which is still great. And any excuse to go up to the 4th floor and see Ethel Beavers is ok by me. In the words of Leslie: "This is like a waking nightmare... of happiness!" Which were your favourite Parks moments of the first 100 episodes? Share your own picks in the comments.
