The West Wing's Bradley Whitford plays Councilman Pillner in season four's "Live Ammo," and the episode contains several nods to Aaron Sorkin's hit political TV series.

For starters, Pillner tells Leslie, "We play with live ammo around here," paraphrasing The West Wing's Sam Seaborn, who was of course played by none other than Rob Lowe himself.

Better still, we also see that Pillner has a framed cocktail napkin in his office which reads, "Pillner for Pawnee," as is an hilarious parody of Whitford's West Wing character Josh Lyman keeping a framed cocktail napkin reading "Bartlet for America" in his office.
