Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson... so, how are these two best friends again? While the two may be incredibly close, they almost couldn't be any more different.
Leslie Knope was the heart and soul of not only the Parks Department, but the Parks & Recreation show in it's entirety. Her overly-caring attitude and determination to find a new reason to bring her friends to a smile made us fall in love. Leslie would do anything for those she cares about, but her biggest determination is hardly recreational: Leslie LIVES for government work.
On the opposite side of that spectrum, Ron Swanson would love nothing more than to be locked away from all of humanity with nothing but a table full of meat, whiskey, meat, and more meat. Oh, and he's a hardcore libertarian who believes the government can do no good.
