What would Parks and Recreation be without the inimitable Jerry Gergich - or is it Larry, Terry, Gary, or Barry?

Though Jerry was a relatively minor character in the show's first season, he came into his own from season two onward as series creator Michael Schur realised the comic goldmine he had on his hands with the brilliant Jim O'Heir.

And from that point, Jerry's character was fully crystallised: his persistent clumsiness and ever-present status as the butt of every office joke, despite the fact that deep, deep down, all the Parks employees secretly loved him.

But of course, Jerry's home life proved far more accomplished than his career. Married to a beautiful wife and blessed with a wonderful family, he clearly achieved the sort of work-life balance most of us can only hope to achieve.
