Created and written by Craig Mazin, HBO's Chernobyl quickly became the highest rated TV show on IMDB when it aired, beating the likes of The Wire, Band Of Brothers and Breaking Bad in the process. That's no small achievement.

The miniseries details the harrowing real life events that took place at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant on 26 April 1986.

Not long into the first episode, we are shown just how horrific the effects of radiation poisoning was, not only for the firefighters tackling the fire, but also for the residents of Pripyat.

Although there were only five episodes of the miniseries, the show gave us a lot of insight into the events that unfolded just before and long after the disaster occurred. But just how much of the miniseries is accurate? Can you determine what HBO got right about Chernobyl disaster?
