Ranking All 8 Incarnations Of Mark Hamill's Joker From Worst To Best
5. Justice League Action
Justice League Action saw the return of many of the classic DC voices, including Kevin Conroy's Batman and Gilbert Gottfried's Mr. Mxyzptlk. Still, it isn't set in the same world as the original shows (the DC Animated Universe), even with its similarities.
JL Action is a lot lighter and more comedic than its predecessors. Child friendly is the wrong term, because most DC superhero productions should be for kids despite what Zack Snyder wants you to think.
Maybe pre-school friendly is a better phrase, so toddlers can cheer alongside their older siblings as Batman punches Joker in the face?
Being a lot lighter, don't expect to see this clown shooting sidekicks in the spine or bludgeoning them to death with a crowbar. Instead, enjoy the charm as this Joker embraces not only Bruce Timm's original design from Batman: The Animated Series but also aspects of the sixties Filmation version too. Hamill's voice echoes this with a slightly brighter performance.
