Ranking Every 2017 Comic Book TV Show Worst To Best

7. Runaways

Of all the Marvel properties that were begging for a live action adaptation, The Runaways undoubtedly deserved it the most.

A project almost a decade in the making, Runaways is based on Brian K. Vaughan's seminal 2003 comic, and follows a group of runaways (obviously) on the run after discovering that their parents aren't all what they seem. In fact, they belong to a villainous organisation called 'The Pride', so it makes sense why their kids would want to get the hell out of dodge before anything particularly evil could go down.

The series - about five episodes in at this point - is also faithful to that premise, and represents the dynamic of the group perfectly right from the very get-go. The parents even get plenty of exploration, enabling the show to stretch itself in a way the book never quite could, complimenting the source-material in doing so.

It's still early days for the series, but five episodes in, it's majorly enjoyable. You won't find a manic Marvel quite like it.
