Ranking The 20 Best Arrowverse Costumes
3. Supergirl
Like her cousin, Supergirl inspires the people of Earth with hope - so when she crosses your mind, you probably picture her flying through the air, sporting her House of El symbol as she rocks the red and blue. With that in mind, it's safe to say that her Arrowverse counterpart ticks all the boxes here.
Kara Zor-El has worn the same Supergirl uniform for four years now and it's really quite easy to see why she's never needed an upgrade. With that legendary red-and-blue ensemble (completed by a red skirt and cape for aero-dynamic purposes), her suit is virtually identical to that of her comic book counterpart's most famous look.
Though there were some slight alterations made, such as the lack of a yellow backdrop in the House of El insignia on her chest, as well as the inclusion of thumb holes in her sleeve cuffs, these ended up adding to the already-great design, with the outfit managing to maintain that innocent hopefulness that the character is renowned for.
While it's true that this one would be pretty hard to screw up, that doesn't mean that we shouldn't applaud the costume designer for a job well done. Similar but different, loyal but original; the Girl of Steel's heroic costume is everything that it should be, and so much more.
