Rick And Morty: 10 Worst Things Morty Has Done

Rick isn't the only one who does bad things!

When it comes to pointing out the awful decisions and actions in Rick and Morty, you'll spend the majority of your time looking at Rick. This dangerous and toxic scientist may be a genius, but he has no regard for the sanctity of life or the happiness of his peers. However, Rick doesn't have a monopoly on awfulness, as his grandson Morty has dipped his toes in that pool many times.

Although he may seem like a sweet, innocent and confused young boy, Morty has a real dark side to him, as the influences of his grandfather have rubbed off a little on him. However, unlike Rick, Morty seems to have a much firmer grasp on sentiment and people's feelings, which makes his out-of-character moments of doing bad things all the more noticeable.

It's clear that Morty has the capacity for evil, and while he fights the urge most of the time, there have been plenty of occasions where the beast slips out. So, let's discuss the few moments when Morty even gave Rick a run for his money regarding diabolical decision making.

If you're wondering how long it will take before we start to discuss Morty's relationship fantasies and how they lead to chaos, then you won't be waiting long. It's safe to say that when it comes to the dating pool, Morty has the distinct advantage of science on his side, but in most cases, that isn't as useful as it sounds.

In the episode "Rick Potion #9", Morty enlists his grandfather's help in gaining the love of his long-term crush Jessica. He asks Rick to make him a love potion, and it works perfectly, too perfectly, as the potion ends up seeping from Jessica to the entire school, then the world.

Soon, everyone is in love with Morty, so he and Rick try to fix the problem by whipping up an antidote with praying mantis DNA. Sadly, this doesn't help out too much, as instead of curing the worlds insatiable appetite for Morty, it turns everyone into disgusting Cronenberg-like creatures.

Really, the blame for this can be placed on Rick, which is why it's only number ten. Still, if Morty hadn't asked Rick to make him the potion, and thus created the virus, then they'd have been able to stay in that reality, and the world wouldn't have looked like Videodrome.
