Rick And Morty Season 3: Every Episode Ranked From Worst To Best

1. The Ricklantis Mixup

Forget just being one of the best episodes from Rick And Morty, The Ricklantis Mixup is one of the best-written episodes in animation ever.

With a host of themes which would have made an hour-long special justified, Harmon and Roiland created a masterpiece of social commentary with a citadel of Ricks and Mortys plagued by the real-life struggles of class division and politics.

Countless references, a balance between comedy and drama, and the style of a mad genius make the episode excellent, but what raises it to a level above is the long-awaited return of Evil Morty, who is now a President with obvious parallels to Donald Trump.

Treating the Ricks who voted for President Morty as victims of class struggle and undeserved mediocrity, The Ricklantis Mixup is an incredibly clever episode which presents a political view of the world from an unfavourable position, one that is often ignored by other forms of entertainment when criticising the current President of the United States.

However, while all this social commentary is intelligent and thought-provoking, here’s hoping that in season 4 we’ll be able to see some of that hyped-up Mermaid puss.
