Rick & Morty: 10 Most Insane Gadgets

Following the titular heroes on their wacky and zany adventures throughout space and the multiverse, Rick and Morty is always filled to the brim with wonderful, over-the-top sci-fi aspects. Whether they are aliens, different planets, or the concept of uncertainty leading to multiple versions of the characters.

As much as there are deeply convoluted narratives, character development, and stories often too smart for their own good, a lot of the time all anyone watching Rick and Morty wants is to see their heroes flying through space, or fighting a hoard of aliens with amazing and unique technology.

As Rick Sanchez is the smartest man in the world, there really is no limit to the crazy gadgets the writers are able to give him. His brain power knows no bounds, even if he has to smuggle home what he needs in his grandson's butt, he'll find a way to do it.

Some of these gadgets were used for just a second and were forgotten about moments later, whereas others have been present throughout the entire series, and have even had whole episodes based around them. Regardless of how they were used, these gadgets prove that Rick truly is the smartest, and possibly craziest man in the universe.

Some of the inventions and gadgets on this list are so specifically designed, and so off-the-wall crazy that you find yourself asking how anyone would even come up with such a thing. By comparison however, a space ship seems almost rather average and unexciting in Rick and Morty's world.

Yet, this is a fully functioning space ship that can reliably carry the titular heroes and the rest of the Smith family across the galaxy, and even has a sentient, intelligent programme that can protect the driver in both violent and non-violent ways, and is capable of diplomacy between humans and spiders.

One of the most impressive things about the space ship is that Rick built it out of things he found lying around the garage. Very little thought went into it, and he may well have been blackout drunk at the time, yet still he managed to make a perfectly functioning ship from the scraps he couldn't find any other use for.

Throughout the series, this invention is used so often that it becomes a standard part of any Rick and Morty adventure. However, without it, there wouldn't even be a show at all, and the fact that it seems like a mundane mode of transport for Rick almost makes it even more impressive.
