Ricky Gervais will reprise his famous role as David Brent in next week's episode of the U.S. version of
The Office.
Inside TV say he will 'share a moment' with Steve Carell's Michael Scott in a 'small cameo' that was shot months ago and producers were hoping to keep quiet until next Thursday. To be honest, it's a miracle they have kept it so secret for this long. The last time we saw David Brent was the U.K. Christmas specials of 2003, a little while after being fired from the Slough paper merchants Wernham Hogg, as he tries to exploit his minute amount of fame to make it as a celebrity (Howard from the Halifax adverts and Bubble from Big Brother proved to be more famous than he, though). I can't imagine where Brent is now.
