Riverdale: 8 Biggest Questions We Have For Season 4

6. What Does Hiram Lodge Have Planned Next?

In perhaps the least interesting twist of them all, the Season 3 finale revealed that, even from prison, the one-dimensional villain Hiram Lodge was powerful... because that's exactly what the show needs heading into its fourth season, right?

Having finally been taken down by his own daughter, Veronica, Hiram pulled the rug out from under her when he had his ex-wife, Hermione, arrested as well - because if he was going down, he was taking Veronica's mother with him too. What a great parent.

In the end, he laughed and, like all one-dimensional villains, promised that she had "no idea was coming".

Having had Hiram quickly evolve from evil mobster to caring father and back again countless times over the last two seasons, it seems that the writers are creatively bankrupt when it comes to the character. And yet here we are, about to endure another season full of Hiram Lodge's crooked ways (because he's Hiram Lodge and he always wins okay?).

What does he have planned for Veronica and all of her friends next? Will he continue to target teenagers, or move onto people his own age? The real question, however, is, should we even care?
