Johnny, Moira and their adult children, David and Alexis were enjoying life as millionaires and socialites. Suddenly, the Roses lose all of their money and status, and end up in the town of Schitt’s Creek.

Forced to be imprisoned in the dull city, the Rose family and their outlook on life undergo a certain evolution: their egoism, egocentrism, and obsession with their problems are smoothed out and reborn into humanity and love. And life in a small town turns out to be not so hopeless and meaningless.
Moira – the main protagonist of the series - is a great example of a narcissistic character who tries on different images depending on the situation. She does not however put her soul and effort into them, considering herself so talented that any effort is too much for her, and others so simple and stupid that hastily dressed the image should cause unconditional admiration and faith in everyone. And yet, thanks to her hilarious and witty one-liners Moira is one of the funniest characters on the show.
