For most of us, hospitals aren't considered a very fun and happy place, filled with laughters and jokes, but when Scrubs came into our lives, our outlook on death and disease looked a little less bleak.
The NBC medical comedy-drama followed the lives of J.D., Turk, Elliot, Carla and many other doctors, nurses and patients at Sacred Heart, a teaching hospital in San DiFrangeles, California.
Known for its hilarious and also emotional moments, Scrubs received many awards during its nine season run, however, some fans criticised the last season due to its casting, cinematography, directing, editing, and writing. So pretty much everything then, right? One character who fans can't deny was a constant source of entertainment however was Dr. Elliot Reid, M.D.
Elliot grew up in a very privileged life, but this meant that her parents weren't always around to give her the love and support she really needed. This had a huge impact on Elliot growing up, with her often having to rely on shrinks to help deal with her issues. This still didn't stop her from going on to become a great doctor.
