A show following the fictional life of a real-life comedian and his friends, Seinfeld was bound to be one of the funniest shows on TV. Lasting for nine seasons and spanning mostly across the 1990s, this beloved series is a sitcom that still holds up today.

Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer all lived colourful lives in New York City. Some of the 180 episodes seem to follow the gang doing everyday things, like finding their car in a parking garage and waiting for a table in a restaurant. Other times they ended up in unusual scenarios, such as when George found himself pulling a golf ball from a whale's blow-hole and Jerry ended up bootlegging movies for Kramer's friend.

Created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, Seinfeld was never shy of witty one-liners, amusing observations and brilliant physical comedy. The show was able to do the rare thing of creating a show that still manages to be relevant and funny all these years later.
