Instead, it would be the character of Morty Seinfeld, actually the other co-creator Jerry Seinfeld’s dad in the show, that would be based on Larry’s own father. Or so Mortimer David of Sunrise, Florida claims and who would doubt him when his name matches Morty Seinfeld’s?
Morty Seinfeld was the always opinionated, often cantankerous and frank heart of Seinfeld who would not be afraid to tell things like it is. And of course, he would always insist on paying for meals out with his son, even when he had $0 on his person!
