5. Did Kala Ever Choose Between Wolfgang And Rajan?
The biggest problem with the series finale of Sense 8 was Kala's indecisiveness over Rajan and Wolfgang. The love triangle has been going on since the very beginning of the show when Wolfgang started telepathically appearing to Kala. After having a mental affair with the Berlin-based man, she actually decided in the second to last episode that she would dump Rajan and start a life with Wolfgang, and yet in the finale we found her backtracking once more.
The last scene of Amor Vincit Omnia saw all three characters having sex with one another, which was certainly unpredictable. But considering the amount of focus given to the love triangle storyline - not to mention Kala feeling like she was trapped in a loveless marriage - having her not make a decision was a bit of a disappointment. So, following the events of the finale, did the young woman ever make that choice?
We'd like to believe that she did. We hope that she stuck to her guns and chose Wolfgang. But to be honest, the three of them appeared very happy in that final sequence, so who knows? Maybe they began a polyamorous relationship.
