Seeing Eric and Adam finally come together was a beautiful highlight of the second season, and they have a real road ahead of them, as this is a first for them both. One crucial aspect that the show needs to remember is how this dynamic began, as although it is charming and sweet now, their relationship was bred from a place of abuse and bullying, which needs to remain relevant.

Fans want to see the highs and lows of this dynamic, but mostly they want to see the prediction of Eric's mother come true, and witness Adam helping his new boyfriend "shine". Her comments about Rahim overtaking Eric's personality were right, and although Adam may be less open and often problematic, he does bring the real Eric out and is happy with him despite all of his flaws.

This narrative will likely be one of the most important in the entire show, as the build-up has been fantastic and there is a lot to be learned about fixing their problems. One of the best ways to make this work is by establishing how well their chemistry works, especially for Eric.
