She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Four Review - 7 Ups & 1 Down

4. Up - A Much Better Fight Scene

The problem with She-Hulk’s big fight scene at the end of episode three was that there was no jeopardy. There were no stakes, she was never in any real trouble, and as such she didn’t exactly have to exert much energy. It was almost boring.

Fast-forward a week and the same couldn’t be said about her fight with the demons brought forward by Donnie Blaze's portal. She was called into action by Wong, and this was the first time she properly felt like a superhero.

In fairness, she has defiantly rejected the notion of being a superhero, but she wouldn’t be in the MCU if that were actually the case. She needs some strong action sequences under her belt, and fighting off a hoard of goblins from another dimension was a great way to do this.

There still wasn’t a great amount of jeopardy, as no one could truly believe that she was in any real trouble in this fight, but working together with Wong, fighting a unique opposition, and so many of them at that, at least allowed her to flex her muscles and show what she could really do when she was called upon.
