She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode Nine Review - 8 Ups & 4 Downs

4. Up - Unlike Anything Else

She-Hulk Jen

She-Hulk has been relatively hard to predict episode to episode, because no two episodes have really been the same. There hasn’t been one single narrative thread to follow, and there was the potential for each and every episode to be different.

That’s not to say that it was a mystery along the same lines as WandaVision, but the series kept audiences guessing. It was unique, with the finale being one of the most unparalleled, unrivalled pieces in the entire MCU.

When Jen spoke to K.E.V.I.N at Marvel Studios, she spoke about too many MCU projects ending in the same way. Quite ironically, by the time she gave this speech the She-Hulk ending had already been completely different from anything else before it, and likely after it either.

For those that like to criticise the Marvel Cinematic Universe in terms of formulaic storytelling, there’s absolutely no way this could ever be thrown at She-Hulk. It can be quite difficult to produce something 100% unique anymore, but this was certainly as close as we're going to get.

This standard nerd combines the looks of Shaggy with the brains of Scooby, has an unhealthy obsession with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is a firm believer that Alter Bridge are the greatest band in the world.
