Sherlock Quiz: Who Said It - Sherlock Or Moriarty?
Which genius said it?
The Great Detective, Sherlock Holmes made his debut in “A Study In Scarlet” in 1887, and has since been one of the most popular characters in literature. The character has been adapted to other media – stage, TV, film, comic books for over 100 years.
One of the most recent adaptations is the BBC’s Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes. Set in modern-day London, Sherlock brought some of the detective’s most famous cases to the present day, adapting them to modern technologies. The series also included some of Arthur Conan Doyle’s most memorable characters, such as Sherlock Holmes’ archenemy, James Moriarty.
Moriarty reached a point where he was obsessed with the Great Detective and their relationship has been portrayed as quite competitive, as he is the only one at Sherlock’s same level of genius, thus representing a challenge to him.
The conversations that take place between these two are usually about them trying to figure out each other’s secrets or the answers to one another's games. Because of the intelligence level, Sherlock and Moriarty both share similar dialogue. How and what they talk about can often confuse fans.
Can you tell these two geniuses apart by just their quotes alone?
