8. Culverton Smith Bus Shelter Ad

If you can draw yourself away from the controversial subplot where John flirts with a woman he met on a bus, you might notice this bit of foreshadowing for the next episode.

At the bus stop where John finds his mystery woman, there is a poster in the bus shelter which features Toby Jones as Culverton Smith, the villain he will play in season four's second episode The Lying Detective.

We can't make all of it out but we can see the line 'Business - It's Murder.' It seems that Smith will not be a doctor as in the Doyle story but some sort of high-profile businessman. Perhaps in the mould of Donald Trump?
