The Simpsons - 10 Classic Easter Eggs You Probably Missed In Season 17

1. Behind The Scenes Hints - Regarding Margie

One noticeable change in the show as it progressed was how it used its opening and closing credits. Obligatory in the earlier seasons, later episodes have used the time a little more creatively - the HD opening sequences are full of references to old episodes, the couch gags are all out parodies and the normally basic end theme has been turned into a joke countless times. There's montages, joke pay-offs and, most commonly, voice-overs. The best is probably from Bart Star, where Homer proceeds to "cut" the entire cast and crew, although Season 17 offers an equally funny one. When Danny Elfman's name appears, Homer reveals he was only hired because of being friends with producer Richard Sakai, which is a believable logic behind the common Burton collaborator originally working on the series.
