In the Crazy Cat Ladys first appearance, Lisa ever the diplomat questions whether anyone who appears to love animals so much can truly be crazy. Eleanor answers this question by chasing after Lisa using her precious cats as projectiles to hurl at the eldest Simpson daughter. It is deeply depressing that someone who had so much to offer was conquered by alcoholism and mental illness. She makes her distant relative the drug-addled Otto look veritably sane.
