In A Fish Called Selma in season seven, washed up actor Troy MacClure discovers that he has a chance at regaining his fame - so long as he finds a family, and particularly a female companion. When it turns out that any female will do, and Marge's sister Selma is, in fact, female (something Homer would no doubt dispute, along with her humanity), Troy jumps at the chance to be seen on the town with her - and the gossip rags do what they do best. The "Look Who's Drunk" section really steals the show, however. Isn't this something TMZ would try today?
